B Sculpt Pty Ltd ("B Sculpt", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Website enquiries: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and the message you send us through the contact form.
- Website chat assistant: the messages you type into the chat assistant on our website, and, if you ask us to contact you, your name, email address, phone number (optional) and a short note of what you'd like to discuss.
- Bookings: the details you enter when you book through our online booking system (Square Appointments), such as your name, contact details and appointment choices.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp.
- In the clinic: health information needed to assess whether a treatment is suitable for you. This is collected only at your consultation, with your consent, and is not collected through this website.
Please don't include medical details in the website contact form or the chat assistant. We'll discuss those with you at your consultation.
The chat assistant
The chat assistant on our website is an AI system. It gives general information about B Sculpt and our treatments, based on the content of this website, and is not medical advice. To generate replies, your chat messages are sent to Anthropic, the provider of the AI model, which processes them in the United States. We don't keep a record of the conversation on our website; if you ask us to contact you, the details you give are emailed to us in the same way as a contact form enquiry.
Why we collect it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and manage your appointments, provide and record your treatment, send you appointment confirmations and reminders, and meet our legal and insurance obligations. We will only send you marketing if you have agreed to receive it, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted service providers to run our business, who handle your information on our behalf:
- Square (online bookings and payments)
- Microsoft 365 (business email)
- Resend (sending website enquiry emails)
- Anthropic (the AI model behind our website chat assistant)
- Cloudflare (website hosting)
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls on our systems. We keep information only as long as we need it, or as long as the law requires for health records.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us at info@bsculpt.com.au. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
